My diet has improved 10-fold but I’m still having difficulty eating fruit regularly. Greens, no problem. Veges by the truckload, bring ’em on. But fruit… it’s like my brain short circiuts and even though I buy the stuff… I forget to eat it. So I bought my 3 faves… Green Apples, Soft Madarins and sweet juicy Plums. I placed them on the dining table in my fave blue acrylic bowl. Formally known as the “chip bowl”… but no longer.
If the baby trail has taught me anything, it’s to respect my body and what I put in it. There is no such thing as eating without consequences. It’s been 8 MONTHS since I’ve had a coke and you know what, I don’t want any. When I see an overweight girl drinking it I want to slap it out of her hands and say “bad girl, very bad girl… naughty naughty”. I suppose it’s a lesson I had to learn in my own time, at my own cost.
