… love Sex and the City.
I do. I’m a HUGE fan. I was never allowed to watch it as a teenager. I don’t see why, it’s more than just sex. It’s friendship, relationships, self worth and empowerment, fashion, culture, men, kids, infertility, work, family and fun. It makes me bawl my eyes out and then a minute later it will make me laugh so hard it gives me a stitch.
Even Steve’s gotten in on the action. I think he’s hanging out for it to come out on DVD so he can watch it, privately, in his own home. Char’s infertility journey hits close to home and I’m infuriated with one of the scenes in the movie, if you’ve seen it you probably know which one. I’m glad Miranda and Steve didn’t just coast along. It’s good that you can have bumps in the road and get through them.
I’m going to go again. I’ve asked Alice if she wanted to go with me but if not I’ll probably go alone so I can cry in private 😛 It was difficult watching it with Mum and Stephanie as they didn’t really know the full story. I have the whole series on DVD and I’ve watched them a million times. I even have the Sex and the City Game. Told you I was a fan.
I love hearing stories of all the girls getting together to watch it at their local cinema’s. I love the feeling of sisterhood. Girls night out. Cocktails. Fashion. Fabulous… oxox
