I have one regret. Tequila. Baaaaad. I went out last night. The following is a summary of the events that followed my last post. My friend Steve came around and we watch an awesome video (which I will blog about later) and got Thai takeout. Yumm Pad Thai. Then I got dressed up in my hot black jeans and an awesome grey and black titty top. Oh I was workin it! We picked up Scott, Casey & Shaun and toddled off to the Clarendon Pub where our friend Mike was DJ-ing. We danced to pub rock songs with a couple of drunk middle-aged teachers then headed back to scotts for a few drinks before heading to Jupiters Night Club.
This is where it got ugly. At the pub I downed a couple of beers. At Scotts I had a double vodka. At Jupiters I had Tequila, Lime & Lemonade and lots of them… baaaaaaaaaad. I never mix my drinks. Apparently all rules went out the window. I got smashed. Not vomity drunky. Not spilling drinks drunky… just happy. I think the best word to explain it is ENTHUSIASTIC. About every song, every sip of my drink, every trip to the toilet, about, well… everything. It was nice to feel so invincible and confident when a couple of hours prior I was feeling pretty low.
I got up to some mistchief. Near the club is a big chalkboard sign which serves as an advertsiement for a store. This sign is HUGE. I drew a HUGE penis on it. We always carry chalk with us and do the odd naughty drawing but nothing compared to my giant phalis. I’m quite proud. I wonder if it’s still there today 🙂 At 3am Natalie & Ryan wanted to leave and as they were my ride home I too said my goodbyes.
On the way I convinced them to come horseriding today and stay the night at mine so they would have to drive back and fro from the city. YAY I didn’t spend the night alone in my big house. I was still on a very big high when I got home so I bored them to death with a solo conversation about all the furniture I restored, when & where I bought my sheets/couch/table/computer/etc until they hinted enough that they needed to sleep and gently nudged me off to bed. This morning I was informed I was totally hilarious, especially when I made reference to myself as A sexed up version of Martha Stewart. At least I was entertaining and not a drunken hinderince!
So reflecting on those actions this afternoon, the thought of bumping along on a trail ride seems a bit iffy for my stomach but I’m gunna brave it and have an AWESOME time. Hopefully the enthusiasim I had last night will reverb right through today and my week. Now I’m off to do some “yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr”-ing.
