The first 2 Caronna’s went down a treat. The rest of my tequila bottle… not so much. Once I was out of alcohol I managed to find more. It just so happened to be Smirnoff Blacks. So you can imagine I’m feeling rather sheepish for abnormal things I said and did. Things were said in jest without them realising A) How sensitive I am… B) I’m an onion with many layers… and C) I love Steve and being his wife, but I’m also a free thinking individual. Thanks to my friend Steve I got over my little pity party and slapped myself for being such a diva. At least I know who my real friends are. Plus I learnt not to mix my spirits a very long time ago. A rule that obviously last night went right out the window. Apparently I’m invincible… until the next morning.
I had to work today. Only 3 hours but it was complete and utter torture. Bright lights, being forced to smile when all I wanted to do was grimace. I had to be polite and help people and pretend to actually give a crap. That was the hardest part. All I craved was my bed. Alas when i finished work I had to drive Steve and I out to Penrith Domayne to pick up our wedding photos and our Wii. For 200 photos I paid $24… that is out of this world!
I was totally thrilled with how the photos came out and rushed us over to Penrith Westfield to look for albums. All the camera shops had fru-fru white wedding bell covered monstrosities and I wasn’t going to have a bar of it. Instead I tried my luck at BigW and came up trumps. Lovely chocolate faux-leather dry mount albums for $22 each. They had just the right amount of pages and I didn’t hate them. Chocolate, Cobalt Blue & Silver were our theme colours. Perfect.
