I’ve been casually watching ebay for a good bargain on outdoor furniture. Not the posh stuff that sits pretty under a patio, something cheap, sturdy and rough that I could fix up and leave outside in the elements. With summer drawing even closer, I can’t wait for the warm weather and spending more time outdoors.I fell for this one straight away. Seriously, a good picture can definitely help the sale of an item. I want it to look just as good in my back yard lol. I’d prefer an 8 seater but it’s still one of my faves.
Ok, imagine it’s not painted a horrible shade of coral and imagine what I could transform it into. Look at the bones of it. I love that it seats 8-10 (if I add a chair each end) and has 4 little love seats with backrests. It even has a hole for an umbrella. It would be a big job to get all that paint off but I think it would be worth it.
A guy makes these in his backyard for $25 each. They’re simple, cheap and a classic. As a big girl, I’m not a fan of fixed bench seating. It’s almost impossible to get up gracefully. Still on the fence with this one.
This little teak beauty seats 8 and each chair is a carver (has arm rests) which is a big plus. It needs TLC and a good lick of varnish. Tedidious work but it would definately be worth it. It’s a lot bigger than the others I’m looking at and I’d have to take that into concideration as well. Will we always have a home that could house it?
