In the end I decided to put them into nice drymount albums myself when digital printing prices were cheap. I printed 80% of my photos at 11c a print which is pretty darn good. I picked the albums up at BigW but you’d never guess it looking at them. They even have paper inserts to protect the photos.
It’s only been 19 months since we got married and I’ve finally completed our wedding albums. Originally I planned on making one of those photobooks that you can create online and have printed and I did so but with each computer crash I lost all my work.
The first album contains photos from when I was getting ready to the end of the ceremony. There are some really special moments captured.
The second album contains photos from outside the ceremony, group and bridal party photos as well as some of the reception.
I got them completed just in time to take with us to Newcastle so we can show Mum & Dad, Lendrum and my Grandparents. Seriously though, if you are getting married and thinking about photos, get a professional digital package so you can print what you want when the prices are right and save yourself a hell of a lot of money. It can be time consuming but the satifaction of DIY can’t be beat… and if you don’t want to do it, send them to me 🙂
