On Sunday at 3pm I invited a few friends around for afternoon tea and play with some skin care products. It was quite fun. I completely forgot to take a pic of all the lovely food Steve and I made. Oh well, it got rave reviews anyway. There was carrot sticks and dip, chicken, cheese & lettuce sandwiches, mini choc cupcakes, strawberries & cream, mini chocolate bars… mmm. Luke was kind enough to take photos…This is my friend Susan, our consultant. She’s doing a skin test to see the health of my skin. I’m combination dry, meaning my t-zone (nose & forehead) is prone to oil but elsewhere is dry.
While I got this done everyone got to try all the different skin care products, pig out on food and put a mask on if they felt so inclined.
Once I got my mask on we were all given some beautiful eye pads and were told to relax. A lovely meditative CD was put on and Susan walked us though lovely beaches and fields in our minds. Very refreshing. Luke & Gerard got really comfortable.
My favourite picture… Scott, Jackie, Deb (my boss) and Me.
It was a lovely afternoon. Almost everyone bought products and lusted after Steve’s coffees. Most people left around 7pm and Casey stayed on and had dinner with Steve and I. Afterward we watched “Never been Kissed” on TV. I love Drew Barrymore. Hope your weekend was a good one oxox
