So not only were we hot, but so were the pictures. We eventually found sanctuary in the shade, under a rail bridge in Windsor. I thank goodness for young hoodlums who “decorate” our streets because without them these pictures wouldn’t ‘pop’. Nothing like “FATSO” sprayed red on a wall to add an edge to an image. In the end it was a fun and proactive day.
Not only did I have the photo shoot planned for the evening, but in the morning I attended my first accountant meeting and as nervous as I was I had a moment where I finally got enough confidence to say to myself “you know what you’re on about, go get ’em”, and I did just that. I got all the information I needed and more. I left on a high. Go me.
After my big day had come to an end, Steve and I decided to go to the RSL for dinner. It was nice not having to cook or clean. The food was ok for an RSL and it was very special to ‘chink’ glasses with my awesome hunky hubby and celebrate a new chapter, together. Tomorrow is a new day and I’ve scheduled a sleep in and then a late morning website meeting with Gerard. Sweet.
Oh and my RL magazine arrived (the first from my 12mth subscription) this afternoon and it’s dying to be read. I love that it arrives a week early 🙂
