I woke up this morning feeling a little worse for wear but thankfully it passed. I had my handyman come by and have a look at our poor broken dishwasher (oh how we miss you) and he said it’s the pump so hopefully we’ll get it fixed soon. He’s also gotta fix our front gate as it’s lopsided and hopefully sometime this week. I’m not holding my breath. My handy man is great but the owner isn’t keen on paying straight away.
Other than that I spent some quality time chatting to Dani about everything and even managed a phone call to Mum. Yep she’s been gone 2 days and I missed her. I went and did my final load to the Op shop and felt quite pleased with myself. I managed to grab some lunch and make it to the post office too. I’m useless when it comes to the post office. I got a new pregnancy magazine to flip through before my daily nap time and a can on Lime Solo just because I can.
My boss from Crossroads rang and invited me out to dinner on Wednesday night as Christine and I left work at the same time. It should be really nice. Thankfully I also have my hair appointment midday so I’ll at least look presentable, maybe even have that mythical glow about me. I’m really looking forward to getting rid of the grey. I know you can barely see it… but I know it’s there. I’ll probably stick to the short bob and dark colour but we’ll never know till I get home. I’m spontaneous like that.
I spoke to Casey today and she’s agreed to help me organise my Richmond baby shower in June. Very exciting. It’s not going to be huge, just right. Also I’ve decided, after much convincing from every mother on the planet, that I wont buy a change table. We’ll just use the daybed as previously planned. The room is ready and waiting for the furniture to arrive. I’m pretty sure this will be the shortest layby ever. We’re picking up the Tallboy on the weekend. I’m just hoping it’s not too big.
Other than that I’m chilling out. My blog needs a make over, maybe it’s just my hormones, but it needs something. Steve is home from work and reading my pregnancy magazine on the guestbed. Too cute. I might just have to join him…
