He’s getting bigger. Thankfully I’m not packing it on, although when you see me in the evenings decked out in my warm purple trackies and jumper, snuggled under blankets, you’d think a Heffalump had taken up residence. That said, when I venture out I try to make an effort. Today I’m hitting the library. I have to return the mountain of books I borrowed and maybe acquire some new ones. Maybe one with sewing projects, hmm…
LM has been a lovely baby. Lots of tumbles and ticklish kicks. Steve’s still yet to feel him move. LM is getting stronger everyday so I guess it’s just a case of Steve’s hand being on my belly at the right time. Not really any heartburn or reflux to report (think goodness) and all I’m craving is warm food and carbs. Toast with Peanut Butter, Toast with Vegemite, Mash potato, sausage sandwiches, pies. Of course I’m still eating crumbed baked fish, salads and lots of fruit (mandarins mainly) and I haven’t really made a big dent in the chocolate box I got for mothers day yet. I think right now it’s all about savoury foods.
Steve taking me out on date tomorrow. I know, so romantic. He’s taking me to the Sydney Baby Expo… his idea. We’re going to make a whole day of it. Hopefully learn a few things, get some samples and discount vouchers and maybe even pick up a bargain. It’s nice that Steve is willing to dive into it all, it’s going to be mayhem. It’ll be interesting to see how I maneuver my bump in the crowds. I’m taking my small camera so I’ll try and remember to take some photos. Oh and we have an OB appointment for a check up next Wednesday. It’ll be good to see him on ultrasound again and get an idea of how big he is and how he likes to lay in the bump.
Here’s my 25wk bump silhouette in all it’s glory. It’s getting so romantically gorgeous and receiving a lot of cuddles and kisses from a very excited Daddy. Steve and I are so in love with him already, sometimes it’s overwhelming. Next week will be the 6 month mark. It’s crazy how time flies and how organised we are having only known for 3 months. Sure there are small things we still need (list in sidebar to come) but we have time and are the kind of things we can pick up last minute without too much expense. sigh. I’m so happy.
