I just couldn’t justify spending over $60 on a second hand change table and I stuck to my guns… then I saw this one and thought, just one more round. It was in a nearby suburb (not the usual 50kms away) and had a starting price of $30. What the hell, can’t hurt to try. 7 days of hell later I win the change table with mats for $41. She was so nice she offered to deliver it and did so this morning, no extra fee.
Most people enjoy eBay. The satisfaction of finding what you were looking for. The possibility that you could walk away the winner. Constant days of watching the price go up. Sticking to your budget. Being outbid in the very intense last 38 seconds. Redoing the whole process with another item… and the cycle continues. I lost 8 change tables in the last 2-3 months. This was one roller coaster I was ready to get off.
Doesn’t it go PERFECTLY!!! I’m so happy and glad I went one more round on eBay. I was so surprised that during the last 10 minutes no one bid at all, no one. I was bracing myself for a very agonising battle of the bids but I got nothing… they must have all been watching MasterChef. I’m just so HAPPY. I’m not very good at being patient but it was so worth it. A set up like this cost approx $250 in store and it makes $41 look like pocket change. LM’s nursery now has all it’s pieces in place, the only thing left to add is the little touches… BOOYARR!!!
