He’s getting bigger! Steve and I are really starting to get excited now, especially after the baby shower. LM’s room is filling up with stuff like nappies and powder and tiny socks… real evidence that a little baby boy will be joining us in just 10 weeks!!! His nursery is so lovely and I think I did really well to keep so under budget and still get the look I want, YAY for second hand items! Steve can’t wait to put the car seat in. I told him when I’m 35wks he can get it installed but no sooner, I’d feel a bit dicky driving around with an empty carseat in the back lol.
We have a new food love, Blue Gum Honey on Toast with a big glass of milk. I drink so much milk now it’s crazy. Usually a 3ltr bottle would last a fortnight but now a 3ltr bottle lasts 2-3 days max. I’m still taking my mulitvitamins relgiously. I found that if I put them on my desk and took them as my computer was turning on I’d never forget them lol. I’m still eating a lot of mandarins and I firmly believe thats what’s keeping me ‘regular’… better than eating All Bran everyday for brekkie.
The last couple of days I’ve felt a lot of pressure on my lower back and bending down and sometimes even squatting to pick something up causes a fair bit of pain. We’ve got a Ob appointment on Wednesday so when he does the u/s I’ll check out his position… and see if I can convince him to move. I’m also going to ask for a u/s picture this time, I was so disapointed when I didn’t get one last time. I’d love an approx. 30wk one for my album lol. I’ve been keeping active dispite the cold weather, trying to be in my pregnant prime so the Ob can give me the last “all clear” for air travel for Darwin.
My bump is so gorgeous. Little Mez does really big kicks now, so big they make my belly move all on it’s own. Very cool. He’s also gotten into a bit of a routine, he gets very active just before Master Chef (when we have dinner) and then about 10-11pm when I’m all stretched out in bed. Last night we were listening to the radio and the Black Eyed Peas “Boom Boom Pow” came on and he went nuts doing big kicks, we couldn’t help but laugh. He also wakes me up at 5:30-6am every morning for a glass of milk. I’m serious. I’ve learnt to just walk to the fridge with my eyes shut and get back to bed as quickly as possible. During the day he’s quite between 2-4 I think it’s his nap time. None of his kicks hurt… yet.
