It started innocently enough, I was at Babies Galore paying off some of my layby (car seat/stroller) and I thought I’d have a little look around and see if anything catches me eye. Well, something did… a lovely, gorgeous OiOi Nappy Bag. It’s a Kiwi Blue Tote. I lost all rational thought and wanted to take it home then and there… so I called Mum, told her to look at it online and to tell me what she thought, I needed confirmation I was making the right choice as I’m not one for impulse purchases unless they’re from an Op Shop.
As you can guess, Mum agreed it was the best of the best and to go for it. The bag I intended to buy originally cost $99 and while it’s still a great bag, I’d rather pay an extra $80 and have one I love. Seriously I love it so much, it’s very me. I love large totes and overnight bags so it’s perfect. The biggest plus for me was the handles being big enough to slip on my shoulder with ease.
I’ve never spent more than $60 on a handbag before but I know that once you’re a mumma the nappy bag is your handbag so it’s worth the investment. It cost $179 and worth every penny. The details are stunning, plenty of pockets and a zipper at the top for security. I love the colours, the texture of the fabric and… well, everything about it.
As with most nappy bags these days, they come with functional accessories. I got a lovely soft change mat, a bottle warmer and a slimbox for nappy wipes. Inside there is a zippered wet pouch, lots of pockets and zippered inserts.
