Our Little Mez will be here NEXT MONTH… it’s technically the end of August but who cares, still trips me our to hear it. Pretty much everything is organised for his arrival but did you really expect anything less? It’s so much nicer to be pregnant at home I’ve decided. I can nap when I want, wear comfy house clothes and have plenty of quiet time but that said I do miss my girlfriends. LM has been a lot more active too since we got home from Darwin and has slipped back into his normal routine of awake and asleep, it’s almost like clockwork.
I’m glad clothing my bump hasn’t been to much of an issue but some days I just feel like wearing something new but can’t justify the $ when I know I should be saving for my post-baby wardrobe which sounds a lot more fun. Steve and I have also become slightly addicted to clothing LM. I swear Steve’s ears perk up when he sees tiny jeans and tops that looks very similar to those in his own wardrobe… hmm.
I’ve been drinking a lot of water and don’t drink as much milk anymore. Mandarins are still very much on the menu, as is steak. I’ve kinda gone off chicken and pork but I still can’t get enough of potatoes and green beans… and the odd TimTam. The vitamins I’m taking seem to be doing the job as all my pee and blood tests have come back with great results and my nails look fantastic! I’m meant to continue taking them whilst breastfeeding but I might even keep it up in preparation for the next possible baby… I love how I get ahead of myself 🙂
My glorious bump at 32wks. My boobs actually look tiny in this photo in comparison. He’s getting really heavy, apparently almost 2kgs and boy, can I feel it! I’ve definitely got a waddle happening and the pressure on my lower back due to my curvature gets pretty painful if I don’t rest enough. My hips have also taken a beating from sleeping in an unfamiliar bed without my body pillow and from being restricted on the plane. My bed feels like heaven. My boobs haven’t grown at all since 16wks which is wonderful, sure they feel fuller but the cup and back size is the same. I’m a bit nervous about when they’ll start leaking…
Fundus measurment was 32cm and as the picture above shows, Little Mez is lying in a Transverse postion and since he hasn’t moved postition at all for months now I don’t see him moving anytime soon. His head is even on the same side as this picture lol. My Ob agrees and the likelyhood of a c-section is becoming more real. C-section doesn’t bother me, I just like being informed about LM’s wellfare and possible courses of action. Ob also asked me to go for a 34wk u/s to check his growth and well being and I was more than happy to obligue. Might even be able to sneak a peak in 4D.
