I hated seeing him in pain but I hated having to give him Panadol to ease it. I don’t even like to take painkillers myself but to see him suffer was worse. It works but only for awhile. I give him frozen fruit (usually cut into stick form or in his mesh feeder), rusks, dried apricots (loves them), teething gels, teething rings, books, toys… my fingers. It all works but nothing seems to ease the pain long enough. I’d read about amber necklaces when I was pregnant but always seemed to forget to order one when payday came around.
One of the younger bubs in my Mothers Group had one, apparently he’d been wearing one for weeks but you could never see it under his clothes. His mum explained how the massive drooling had stopped and he seemed happier. He’s 5.5months old and on the verge of teeth. It sounded promising. I ordered one from here and within two days I’d noticed a difference. We rarely have to give him panadol, the drooling is minimal and whilst it didn’t solve all my teething problems I’m glad I bought it. I was worried about him having something around his neck, that he would play with it, that it would get caught but he doesn’t touch it, doesn’t even flinch when I put it on. We only take it off at bath time then it goes straight back on again.
