Welcome back for week 21 of the Polly Dolly weekly Polyvore challenge!
Every Thursday I’ll post a new Polly Dolly Theme Challenge, then you toddle off and get creative. You can credit the items if you want and add a bit of an explanation of why you chose the pieces or you can just share your clipboard… it’s up to you. When you’re done maxing out your imaginary credit cards, simply add your link below using your blogs name as the “title” and a direct link to the specific blog post. Note: As Polyvore only publishes to Twitter or Facebook, I’ve found the easiest way is to click on your set, and go to ‘view details’. Then go to ’embed on your blog’ and copy the html (you can chose to have just your picture, or the item info as well). Paste it into your post in the html section. Easy!
I’m a little disappointed that there aren’t any plus size fashions at Sydney Fashion Week this year, I really wanted to go but don’t see the point now. I had an image in my head of what I would wear and who I would see, so this weeks theme is: What would your Dolly wear to…
As soon as I saw this dress I was in love, it would suit all sizes and shapes and it’s just so damn dramatic! I’d slip on a pair of edgy pumps (these really slim the ankle) and a white leather bolero to keep the chilly wind off my back. I’d wear full make up, have long lashes and cover my eyes in plum hues. To add some bling I’d wear a large sparkly ring and a long necklace with a chunky pendant, I’d keep my ears simple and wear pretty gold studs. I’m not usually a gold person but the outfit called for warm tones so I’d carry this shimmery clutch. I’d keep my berry shade lipstick in it as well as TicTac’s to keep my breath fresh and iPhone to capture celebrities, use twitter and snap my favourite outfits.
How would you rock it alongside the runway?
