It was my second day in Bondi Junction and I was heading out to do some shopping. I was all ready to take a super stylin self portrait and then a lady got on the elevator and looked like a goddess. Totally ashamed I took this horrible sneaky shot instead. I’m wearing dark grey wash jeans and a blue cropped denim jacket with a white singlet and a beautiful pastel pink shrug with grey sequins and my super chunky silver bangle. I wish I didn’t care what the goddess thought of me and took a better photo… ah well, lesson learnt.
The first thing on my agenda was to get a pedicure so I did just that. The girl I got was lovely, spoke english very well and chatted to me for ages, oh and she gave the best massage I’ve had yet. I loved the salons cute little floral covered chairs, so kitsch.
I’d been obsessing over Lilac nails for awhile now and I was so excited that it suited my skin tone. Every time I look at my tootsies I can’t help but smile.
Afterward I wandered around a bit, bought a new iPhone cover in my favourite colour blue and window shopped. I stumbled across this enormous shop filled to the brim with jewelery, I mean it was crazy. You were given a pink velvet tray that acted as a shopping cart and they had assistants to help you with ring sizes (all too small for my man hands) and all I wished was that I had the store closer to home.
Even though I was heartbroken about the rings I didn’t leave empty handed. I bought these two big chunky necklaces and a pair of sweet little earrings in my favourite colour. After i grabbed some lunch and called a friend I jumped in the car and headed off home before peak hour traffic hit. It still took me 2 hours to get home but I’m glad I left when I did because I heard on the radio that it was bumper to bumper and lots of accidents occurred as it was raining. I arrived home to a happy smiling baby that wouldn’t let me out of his sight for a couple of days but we all survived and I had a really great time.
