The second fashion post this week featuring the WeLoveColors tights I was sent, this time they were Charcoal footless ones, they’re really comfy too. I’m also sporting a few new items as well which was kind of fun. It’s been nice feeling so much more confident when out shopping, I’ve ventured into places where I wouldn’t have normally looked.
This was the look on my face when I found this purse at the op shop. I kid you not, an original, mint condition Glomesh Handbag. It came in it’s original box with a slipcover, velvet covered mirror and original style tag and tissue paper… for only $10! The mesh is in beautiful condition, not one single scratch and the perfect shape and style for me. I think I have to do a more detailed post on it later so I can swoon over it some more.
The dress is from Best&Less of all places, it’s a little shorter than I’m used to (and on sale) so I’m glad I have the tights to wear with it because it’s lovely and light for spring. The blush coloured waterfall cardigan I got from Target is one of my firm favourites, it’s so lovely, soft and feminine.
I started taking these outfit photos to inspire myself to really start thinking about fashion again and not get stuck in my rut of PJs or jeans-and-top combinations. If I was honest with myself, whilst I was immensely proud of what my body had achieved in growing such a healthy boy, for the full first year of his life I had almost 0% positive body image. It wasn’t until after he’d become more independent, that I did as well.
I’m sure I’m going to look back on these photos one day and go “what the hell was I thinking” but for now they’re a whole lot of fun and it makes me so happy that you’re all enjoying them too. Oh, and it just tickles me pink when they inspire others to do the same, it’s just so liberating!
