Taken the day I started the program
For the last week I’ve been trying something new, actually it was entirely new and it was hard but I did it and I’m so proud. My name is Danielle and I lost 3kgs in the first week of the Tony Ferguson program. I still have half my current body weight to loose. This will not be a fast journey but it’s definitely one I have to make. The staff are so helpful and call to check in a lot, just to chat. I like that. I can also go into the center whenever I like, check my weight or talk about recipes or ways of combating cravings.
Talk about a lifestyle change but I was ready to do it, I was in the right frame of mind and had plenty of help and support. This has been a long time coming. I just want to clarify that I’m not just drinking shakes and not eating, that’s unhealthy. Here’s a quick run down of what my daily food intake was before and whilst on the program:
Breakfast – skipped it
Morning Tea – skipped it
Lunch – Sandwich / Chips / Takeaway
Afternoon Tea – skipped it
Dinner – Meat & 3 Vege / Pie & Chips / Anything Mexican
Dessert – Ice Cream
Midnight Snack – Chocolate / Chips
Breakfast – TF Shake + Fiber + Multi Vitamin
Morning Tea – Fruit
Lunch – Salad / Omelete with protein (chicken / prawns / ham)
Afternoon Tea – TF Shake + Fruit
Dinner – Stirfrys, Curries, Meat 3 Vege, Roasts
Dessert – Diet Jelly
It’s a three stage program: Weight loss, Progress & Maintenance, I’m currently on weight loss and that means cutting out carbs. No bread, rice, pasta etc but that only goes for a couple of weeks. It was really hard the first couple of days but by the 4th day I hit my stride and things were looking up. I should clarify that this change has nothing to do with the mean girls from last week. I was already on the program and was actually leaving the clinic when the comment was made… you could say it spurred me on even more!
Not into weight loss blogs? Don’t fret, I won’t be blogging about it on Danimezza… you can read all about my journey so far over at Shake It Danimezza. I kept it private for the first week because I wasn’t sure how I’d go and if it was for me, but it is and you know me, I like to share! I’ll be blogging there daily as well, it will be my place to vent, share recipes and my weekly weigh in results. Check it out if you like but as I said, if it’s not your thing then that’s ok, things will be carrying on like normal here. I’ll still be posting lots of fashion posts and giving you sneak peeks into my life, the exciting & mundane.
