Welcome back for week 46 of the Polly Dolly weekly Polyvore challenge!
Every Thursday I’ll post a new Polly Dolly Theme Challenge, then you toddle off and get creative. You can credit the items if you want and add a bit of an explanation of why you chose the pieces or you can just share your clipboard… it’s up to you. When you’re done maxing out your imaginary credit cards, simply add your link below using your blogs name as the “title” and a direct link to the specific blog post. Polyvore publishes your outfit straight to your blog with a simple click of the “publish” button… too easy!
Along with a million other things, taking the time to go and see Black Swan still hasn’t happened but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been inspired by the trailer, captured stills or the fashion trends that have resulted from the movie. Rather than a ballerina theme, I thought that this week we could draw from it as inspiration, for me it was all about contrast, elegance and drama. So I want to know, how would you dress your Dolly with…
Of course I just had to choose a dress for my Dolly and isn’t it amazingly soft and delicate. The sweet padded and tasseled purse is pretty awesome, as are the lace up wedges, I’ve never seen anything like them. I adore statement necklaces and this Art Deco inspired piece adds instant drama, earrings are simple and complimentary. The ring is edgy and of a similar design but it’s the bold red lips that steal the show. Skin is flawlessly concealed with a dewy complexion and soft shimmery cheeks… just begging to be kissed!
Have you seen Black Swan?
Linky is currently down due to Linky Tools currently changing their memberships and business structure. I’m waiting for my annual fee ($25) to be processed so until then please leave your link in the comments section and once Linky is reestablished I’ll transfer the links over. Apologies for the inconvenience. Don’t forget to check the comments section regularly to see all the new outfits x

That dress is divine! I love a good V neckline and gorgeous jewellry is always the best way to show it off – especially if you've got a arse kicking bust to go with it!

I made my hubby watch it with me and I loved it but all throughout the movie hubby was quiet. The movie finished and hubby said he would rather look after the kids than go through it again. What's wrong with a bit of good drama than action movies.
Anyway, I'm off to fix up my first Polly Dolly of the year. I love that dress!! brb
