Polly Dolly V.2 WK 1

by Danimezza on April 8, 2011

Welcome back for this weeks Polly Dolly Polyvore challenge!

Every Thursday (usually lol) I’ll post a new Polly Dolly Theme Challenge, then you toddle off and get creative. You can credit the items if you want and add a bit of an explanation of why you chose the pieces or you can just share your clipboard… it’s up to you. When you’re done maxing out your imaginary credit cards, simply add your link below using your blogs name as the “title” and a direct link to the specific blog post. Polyvore publishes your outfit straight to your blog with a simple click of the “publish” button… too easy!

The beautiful, simplistic and unavoidably addictive game for bloggers “Polly Dolly”  which was invented by me is now going into it’s second year and I’m so very excited to see all the new outfits everyone creates. I will redo several classic themes but almost all of them will be brand-spanking-new. Like this weeks theme, perfect for the cooler months ahead and what better way than to wrap yourself in a…
Just like with all of my sets, it starts with just one item and the rest of the outfit just seems to form organically. I instantly fell for this trench, the fabric, the big black buttons and the curvaceous cut… dreamy. The dress stole my heart with its wrap detailing and little bitty buttons. To add a little height and keep the retro feel flowing these shoes are simply perfect. Contrasting ring and bangle make a delicate statement and the bag just screams “MORNING SUNSHINE”! Earrings are bold just like the lashes, drawing attention to the face which is always done  just incase Polly bumps into Mr. B.Right.

Don’t forget to show off your look to everyone else!

See, by rights, I ought to hate this. I despise orange. But that dress is kind of adorable! You have a way of seeing things that I wouldn't normally look at and turning them into something wonderful.

Off to have a go…

I am in love with the dress. Shame I don't have the $$ right now, or I think it would be winging its way to me.

My "Big Girl" is playing along with this. I've let her have a Blog of her own set up under my Blogger account. She LOVES Polyvore & can sit for ages on the computer coming up with sets of either fashion or interiors. So any posts from "me" are really from my 9 year old.
