It feels like only yesterday we were all casually lounging about, sipping drinks, talking all things “blogs” and devouring chocolate covered banana lollies by the handful. The Hello Blogger Events Gold Coast trip was so fantastic I want to do it again next month let alone next year! After dinner at Hanazono Teppanyaki we headed upstairs to our flash apartment at Q1, put on a little music, tipped some chips in a bowl and poured some wine.
No one gets blogging except for bloggers and in real life they seem to be few and far between so when you wrangle a whole big group of bloggers together… magic happens. Everything is shared: tried and tested tips and tricks, adorations, complaints, preferences, gadgets and tech talk. It was brilliant.
After we’d finished our serious blog talk (and a few more bottles of wine) we headed out onto the inclosed terrace for dazzling views of the Gold Coast and we weren’t disappointed…
Dani decided to make herself a little more comfortable…
… and Suger decided to slip into something more comfortable!
It was so much fun playing dress ups and seeing Suger flaunting my Space Skirt was a hoot and a half! No one could stop touching the skirt and at one point Stacey wanted to steal it from her. I’m not sure whether it’s the appearance of a full leotard coupled with the skirt and heels (and the city lights) which make this photo awesome… all I know is that it is!
Tabitha also posed for me, I love all the amber tones and the detailing of her lace jacket.
This is Stacey and I after way too many bubbles. It was lovely to meet her in person and hear just how passionate she is about Sunny Mummy. A very driven lady with aspirational goals. I’ve taken on some of her advice and made myself an inspiration board to help keep me on track, to stay focused on what I really want out of it all.
My main girls Suger and Dani working it for the camera. It was so great to hang out not just online but also in person, if only we all didn’t live so far apart… thank goodness for twitter!
My favourite photo from the whole evening would have to be this one. Stacey looks totally photogenic and the rest of us look like total dorks, fooling around and being crazy… LOVE! What I didn’t love was how I felt the next morning… *ouch*… stay tuned for PART FOUR – the morning after.
