Tomorrow is my 26th birthday and as weird as it may sound, I’m looking forward to what the next year of my life will bring. I’ve never felt this settled in my entire life. I feel like I’ve created a little place in the universe where I finally fit in, where I can utilise all my talents, where I feel I can just be without having to try to be someone else. Yes, “26” is going to be a good year.
I miss doing these everyday outfit posts so I’m starting them back up again. Sure the photos are just taken on photobooth and I had to rearrange my entire studio so the lighting would be bright and clear and maybe I’ll have to work a bit harder to keep my workplace clear but I think it’s worthwhile and seeing as most of you want more of the “real me”, you can look forward to more of these.
Some of my favourite outfits are thrown together when I’m stepping out with Aidan for the day. He has the same amount of patience as his father (nil) so you can imagine there isn’t much time to drag the tripod out into the front yard and do a mini photoshoot whilst trying to make sure he didn’t run out onto the road… oh and then run off to do whatever it is we were doing that required me to get dressed up in the first place!
So I’m going to capture these “errand outfits” because the beauty of them is that they’re quick, they’re taken inside in the warm and I get to show you outfits I normally wouldn’t. I’ll be able to tell you more of the little snippets of my day and maybe a few of Aidan’s outfits too.
This was me on Thursday. Aidan and I went out to get art supplies, pay rent and go to the park.
