Welcome back for this weeks Polly Dolly Polyvore challenge!
Every Thursday (usually lol) I’ll post a new Polly Dolly Theme Challenge, then you toddle off and get creative. You can credit the items if you want and add a bit of an explanation of why you chose the pieces or you can just share your clipboard… it’s up to you. When you’re done maxing out your imaginary credit cards, simply add your link below using your blogs name as the “title” and a direct link to the specific blog post. Polyvore publishes your outfit straight to your blog with a simple click of the “publish” button… too easy!

The urban hippie fascinates me. The more I travel the more I see them. Melbourne is full of them… except when you look closely you realise they payed a lot to pull off an outfit that appears cheap. I can’t pull off this look but Polly sure can! Ochre coloured sloppy jumper is a must, especially when teamed up with a pair of denim shorts and ethnic belt. Leather strap sandals (oh how I want a pair) and a canvas backpack are perfect for the short bike ride to work everyday, don’t forget your sunscreen and water bottle. Raining? Well she could always just whip out her handmade coin purse she picked up whilst backpacking during her gap year and pay for the bus. A ethnic knuckle ring and feather statement necklace dress up the look without being too pretentious. The urban hippie is always sans-makeup but indulges in natural beeswax lip balm and the perfume her girlfriend bought her.

I LOVE those sandals, almost used them in my set as well.
Not a fan of the urban hippie. Seems like an oxymoron to me, although it's more a fashion statement than a lifestyle choice these days…
Love the set – very accurate. It's not something I could pull off, but I work with a girl who can and she rock's it :)
I want that jumper.
Such a fun theme, i don't think i could pull it off either. it was fun creating my set. :)
