Ring My Bella Giveaway

by Danimezza on September 13, 2011

I’m a perfume addict. There, I said it. I long for the change in season, it’s how I justify changing my fragrance and investing in new ones. Now that spring is here magazines have been luring me with their glossy full page, scented advertisements. You’ll find me rubbing my wrists furiously against the paper, desperately trying to release the scent embedded within the pages… oh yeah, I love perfume. So when Benefit Cosmetics sent me their newest floral scent “Ring My Bella” in their cute signature cocktail shaker bottle I was in heaven.

Top notes: pink rose petals, soft lily, summer daisy
Middle notes: Egyptian jasmine, creamy peony
Bottom notes: white patchouli, vanilla tincture, white musk

pimp myspace - Gickr

The packaging is simply adorable, I couldn’t show you without creating a little animation in it’s honour. The box opens up to show “Bella” in her little boutique. I don’t know who the concept designer is for Benefit Cosmetics but they need to be paid more. The bottle is sturdy and small enough for me to tote around all day in my handbag and the cap is nice and secure. Please don’t stare too long at this, you might get dizzy like I did!

I loved Ring My Bella so much I’m giving away bottles of this signature eau de toilet to two lucky Danimezza Readers!!! To enter all you have to do is leave a comment answering this question:

What is your favourite perfume and why?

Competition open to Australian Residents only. Two winners will be chosen based on creativity and originality. Each winner will receive a bottle of Ring My Bella eau de toilette worth $59.00 AUD. Entries close Friday 30th September 2011 at noon AEST. Winners will be notified by email and in the comments section of this post. Please note I was not paid for this post, I received my own bottle of Ring My Bella as a gift.

The first perfume that I ever wore was J’adore by Christian Dior. I was 16 when I my first perfume was spritzer on my neck, on my wrists. I felt like my confidence grew, I felt mature I felt like a woman. The bottle of golden scent sat on my dresser and I would see it every morning, instantly reminding me of the special events I would wear it to.
The day my first bottle ran out was hard, and every time I it’s distinct fragrance, it takes me back to those first days where I started to enjoy growing up, and the moments I enjoyed the first steps of becoming a woman.

True Romance by Ralph Lauren as it is pink and girly with a great floral but not over powering smell with a hint of spicy ginger too.

Aramani Code. It seems to love me. Every time I remember to use it, people ask what it is and compliment it. I am willing to give this cutie a go though. You’re right, how GORGEOUS is that packaging!?

Ooooooooooo, love this post. Your Bella clip is too cool, I don’t mind if I get dizzy, fragrance makes me swoon anyway. I love Benefit, very cute, very sassy, but I haven’t tried their fragrances yet. My favourite perfume at the moment is by a brand called TOKYO MILK and the scent is called ‘Song in D Minor’. It has notes of white orchid, gardenia, orange flower and amber. I cry tears of joy when I wear it. But ‘Ring My Bella’ sounds swoonworthy too! xxx

I love the vanilla I got from the Body Shop. Simple, reminds me of being in High School. First kisses, summers on the beach.

‘Bright Crystal’ – Versace. It’s my signature scent! I first received it as a gift from my mum four years ago when I turned 18, it reminds me of finally feeling like a woman who was ready to take on the world. I’ve been given a bottle every year since then from either a friend or family member for my birthday so it also reminds me of feeling loved. The bottle is so bling bling and to top it off it looks amazing on my dressing table!

This is a hard one, because my favourite perfume is not one that I actually wear very often. It’s Arpege, by Lanvin, and it’s my mum’s signature scent – the one that she would always put on when dressing up to go out to dinner when we were little. I have forever memories of swirling skirts scented with Arpege. I wear it too, occasionally, when I feel like I need to be close to her.

I love Dior Addict because it is sex in a bottle and because I originally bought it on my round-the-world-trip. Every time I smell it it reminds me of that holiday. Also, my husband calls it “Kylie-Smell” *love*

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker…my mum bought it for me to wear on my wedding day…so now when I wear it I’m instantly transported back to the serene Greek island, with the agean sea glistening behind us, staring into the eyes of my to be husband…it’s the next best thing to being able to bottle how I felt that day…

My favourite perfume used to be Anna Sui Original Scent but it seems to be very hard to track down these days so I have since moved on to MOR’s Marshmallow fragrance. It’s soft, sweet and musky all at the same time & I love it because it makes me feel sexy. When I smell it I think it smells so enchanting that if I wasn’t me & I smelled me I would totally want to do me :P

My fav perfume is Cool Water by Davidoff. It is my day to day scent and even when i wear another one for a change, I always end up going back to this one. It has a nice fresh scent and is not overpowering.
I also like the bright blue bottle :) Stands out on my dresser

My favourite perfume is Chanel No 5, not only because it’s a classic scent, but also because it’s the perfume I asked my Nonna/grandmother to buy me when I was 9 years old when she went back to Italy on holiday. I continue to buy the refills for the same bottle to this day – it makes it so extra special and sentimental.

My favourite would have to be Lolita Lempicka. It’s got liquorice notes and sweet, spicy florals that linger and change as I wear it. It makes me feel grown up and mysterious, but also girly and fun!

Mine is Twilight by Sarah Jessica Parker. I only have a smidge left in the bottle. My mother in law bought it for me from San Francisco.

Believe it or not, the perfume I wear the most is the original Paris Hilton. It’s a bit embarrassing to admit, but it works really well with my skin. I also ADORE Be Delicious DKNY. It’s so light and fruity and everything I love about a perfume. Never managed to own it though. Maybe one day!

The One by D&G because it reminds me of when josh gave it to me when we came to sydney for schoolies. Woman by Versace because I got it duty free on the way home from euro trip

I am 30 years old and I don’t have a perfume! I almost feel overwhelmed by the choices and so I have been too scared to try and choose a scent. I think the notes in Ring My Bella sound divine and I would love to make it my signature summer scent!

Tommy Girl is forever my favorite perfume. When I was sixteen, I had to buy an imitation version because I was too poor to splash out for a real bottle. I bought big when I was shopping duty free on my honeymoon, and it was the first time I ever had the real thing- I was so excited about it my brand new husband felt a little left out. What girl doesn’t have a personal relationship with her perfume? :)

Oh I would love to try that!

I flit between Issy Miyake, Diors Paris or Dolca Vita…. or really anything by Dior.

Make me stink nice please! xx

Joop. I wore it on our first date and now 17 years later it still brings back such beautiful memories. I still wear it often and hubby loves it just as much as I do.

My fave at the moment is Naughty Alice, by Vivienne Westwood. It’s disappointingly not very naughty, but it’s subtle and flirty, and it reminds me of a warm, fun Spring day. I’m an Alice in Wonderland nut, so i was drawn to it because of it’s name, but when I tried it on and wore it all day I couldn’t stop smelling myself and got lots of compliments on it, so I knew I had to get it!

I only have ever had one bottle of perfume. I don’t go out much & I can never justify the price of buying a new one, when I still have some left in my trusted bottle. So, my favourite perfume is Spirit of Moonflower by The Body Shop, because it’s lasted me years & still smells fantastic.

my favourite is ‘For Her’ by Narciso Rodriguez. Apart from smelling simply divine, this was the perfume i wore on my wedding day. i purchased it especially for the day as i fell in love with it when i first smelt it… now every time i smell it i think of my wedding day… Hubby has the matching cologne too, so we can smell glorious together ;)

LOVE Vera Wang. Can’t pick just one!

My fave right now is my Juicy Couture, I wore it a lot when I was pregnant, so smelling it now takes me back to that time :)

I adore Anna Sui perfumes the bottles are just as gorgeous as the scents they contain that make me feel like a princess at least for a few minutes until the children start demanding, wanting, vying for my attention to return to them.
