Christmas morning started at 7am.
Aidan got a whiteboard/blackboard from Grandma & Grandpa.
Santa brought him his first scooter which figured out how to use in five minute.
We took the rocking base off his plane that his great grandpa built for him last year, was like a new toy.
Then we looked inside our stockings. Steve got Reeses Pieces and I got Malteasers.
Aidan got these $1 toys from Aldi which are the favourites. He also got pencils and crayons.
After the stockings it was time for breakfast.
Then it was time for presents…
… and playing with the wrappings “Sparkly knees Mumma!”.
Steve got another Robot t’shirt from Aidan.
Aidan got so into unwrapping that he wanted to do it all, even mine.
This unwrapping thing is serious business!
Books, a beanbag, foam letters for bath time… so spoilt.
Steve got more episodes of The Simpsons, he’s already begging me to watch it.
Aidan stole the headband my sister sent me.
… he loves this thing. Aldi came through for us this year.
My sister sent Steve and Aidan something to share.
Then there was the one large present for the family…
… something that Steve had been asking for forever, a mini hifi for his iPhone with digital radio.
Then they spent the rest of the morning setting it up and left me to blog these photos so I wouldn’t store them away and forget. The rest of the day will be spent outside playing and in the kitchen making food… have a great one everybody!
