Everyone, I’d like you to meet Ainsley who modeled for me on Saturday for my second POSE Project, you can see my first one here. Ainsley signed up to be the Make Up Artist but when the original assigned model had to cancel short notice she stepped up and filled both roles.
The shoot took place in my bathroom with nothing more than my camera, a simple standing fixed light and of course natural light… oh and Lana Del Rey and Marina & The Diamonds playing loudly on my laptop. Ainsley sat in the bathtub on a stool for the most part and I’ve gotta say for a half naked chick sitting in the tub in the middle of winter she was really lovely to work with, not a single complaint.
Here is the original inspiration image. It’s a little different to my usual style so I was looking forward to the challenge. I wanted to play with contrast, saturation and a more commercial look without going into full airbrush/plastic mode. I’ve tweeked the images in Lightroom, no photoshop, fancy layers or anything like that. Ainsley still looks like Ainsley and that was (and should always be) important. So without any further hesitation, here are my images for “Bling & Bra”…

Thank you Ainsley for doing a brilliant job, especially for modelling even with such short notice! If I had to choose between all those great shots I would say DANIMEZZA5 and DANIMEZZA7 made a connection with me.love your work.
You’ve got some absolutely gorgeous shots here! I love the third one, DANIMEZZA-2. The eyes are quite mesmerising, and the lighting look amazing.

Plus, Aidan and Katinka are around the same age – they could keep each other entertained!
