Endo and Body Con, what a terrible twist of fate. I’m just scraping in this week’s challenge as I’ve been completely out of sorts for days. Think PJs, hot wheat bag and Nurofen+ so the thought of slipping into a body con dress had me breaking out into a sweat. Normally I don’t wear spanx in my Aussie Curve posts but this dress, regardless of how bloated I felt, needed a pair to pull my lumps and bumps into place. It’s probably one of the most restrictive dresses I’ve ever owned, not an ounce of stretch within it which is probably why I’ve never worn it out… but gosh isn’t it beautiful.

With a look like this you don’t need accessories, it’s all about the texture. The slim fitting dress has it all, lace, sparkle (the dots are made with sparkle threads), contrasting bust, sheer panels and a silky lining. The back has an exposed brass zip that goes almost all the way down to my ass. Maybe I’m a bit of a fuddy duddy and off trend but I still love my zips well hidden.
Steve loves this dress, I’d love it too if it was a little more wearable but I guess it does flaunt off some of his favourite parts of me. You definitely need to wear heels with a dress like this, it does something to your posture that just makes the dress come alive. I went with big curly hair, thick sweeping eyeliner and a bold, glossy dark plum lip to finish the look. The trick with a body conscious outfit is to own it, own all that you are and be fabulous. Rock it babes.
