Today I want to take you on a visual journey, to share one of my new favourite places in my town and my outfit from this week’s challenge. I wont speak much because there’s too much to say and often when that happens it’s better to say nothing at all… enjoy!

- Velvet Dress - Damn You Alexis for City Chic
- Fringed Jacket - Tree of Life
- Earrings - Lovisa
- Bangles - City Chic
- Necklace - Virtu
- Gold Glomesh Bag - Vintage
- Tan Sandals - Payless Shoes USA

There was a moment, as I walked inside the door, a stranger tapped my shoulder. “Hi, I just saw you out on the street and I had to follow you in here. Where did you get your jacket from? I’ve been looking for one like that forever!”. I blushed and looked at my feet.
I’d been afraid of wearing something so flamboyant in my town but it would seem all I was afraid of was fear. When I wore this to a work lunch I received nothing but compliments from strangers and appreciative looks. I wore blue velvet, paisley and fringing in a small town, in the middle of the day on a Wednesday… and I felt fabulous.

If you’re ever in Windsor check out The Bank Bazaar it’s beautiful.

Gorgeous! I love both your outfit and the antique store. It looks like such a haven of beautiful treasures. :)

I think I’m going to hide out there once a week to write, it’s such an inspiring place.
I love that jacket, it’s gorgeous! Much nicer than 99% of the stuff you see parading around here so wear it with pride!
And I love The Bank! Such a gorgeous shop and there is nothing nicer than getting a coffee and sitting in the gorgeous backyard.

There is no way I’d take kids there and whilst it’s disappointing that I can’t share it with Aidan it’s nice to have an adult only space.
I am so coming to NSW just to go to this shop. I ♥ all the bazzar type shops.
And that jacket/shawl is just so timeless. I ♥ it too. I think everyone does.

It’s pretty amazing, it also takes the pressure off buying anything because I can just go there and hang out with it all lol.
Look at those amazing huge windows. What a beautiful building. Your jacket is vibrant and full of life – just like your writing!!
The Bank is soooooo old and underwent a full refurbishment to open the Bazaar. It’s truly beautiful. Thanks for being so sweet x
Wow – gorgeous outfit! I hardly ever even consider City Chic any more but I *love* that velvet dress!

I hope this doesn’t make you too sad but this dress is from 2011 and was a collaborative design between City Chic and Damn You Alexis and is no longer available.
what an amazing shop and beautiful outfit!

It’s pretty amazing. I wanted to take a few more pics but the friend I was meeting wasn’t confident behind the camera and I didn’t want to push it, was awkward enough prancing about it front of someone I just met lol.
The colours in this photoset are amazing! You look like a gypsy princess, and have given me some major fashion inspiration here!
Aww Gypsy Princess, love it x
