Usually I take my outfit photos on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon about 4-5pm in full shade. This weekend I didn’t have that luxury and crammed in my photos at 11am between Aidan’s playdate and my Blog Chic’s blogger meet up event. The lighting conditions aren’t ideal but I just went with it and had fun. Maxi dresses not the first thing I go for in my closet as I often find the one block of fabric too overwhelming for my shape.

- Maxi Dress – ASOS Curve
- Heels – Payless USA
I’d love a bold floral print maxi but I haven’t found the right one yet. With spring and summer styles launching in the states I’m sure I’ll come across something. This one is from ASOS and it’s almost paper thin which isn’t that ideal but means it’s light as a feather. The only reason I’ve kept it is because I adore the colour, it’s so fresh and soft. Don’t you think you should just wear something if you love it?
I don’t pretend that my outfits are of a high fashion standard. I’m not a professional stylist, I don’t own expensive labels and my budget is limited. Sometimes outfits are put together minutes before photographing them and other times I obsess about them for weeks especially for a big event. My Aussie Curve outfit photos are taken for fun in the hopes that other women will have fun joining in too. Nothing more, nothing less.
