You would think that with a theme as simple as “Tee” I would have it all sorted and ready to go on time but with everything that went on last week it completely skipped my mind. I wore this outfit out on Wednesday at Castle Towers whilst doing errands with Steve and Aidan, in hindsight probably a little too casual for “snob hill” but who cares. I didn’t even wear make up and wore my hair in a messy bun so I guess you could say I was going all out. Sometimes you just need a fun-get-shit-done outfit and this is mine at the moment.
I picked up this gorgeous tee from Best & Less the other day for some ridiculously cheap price and I want more. It’s super soft and embroidered in matching thread for texture. I bought a size 26, way larger than what I would normally buy because I wanted it to sit a certain way. Seriously, it’s like an acid-popping-music-festival had babies with Qantas PJs, it’s that good. I love the length of the sleeve, the scoop of the neckline and the colour, wow… the colour. “Brunette me” would never have picked it up, apparently “blonde me” is a little more daring.
My spray tan (from a can) is also completely gone and I hate to say it but I miss it, especially on my legs. I see more orange muddy brown goo in my future, at least during the warmer months. I’d also like to note that the blonde is really growing on me and that straight after these pics were taken I jumped into the shower and toned the crap out of it. I forget how much maintenance it requires and the vigilance needed to keep yourself from looking like a banana head. I’m a blonde newbie, I’ll learn.
