I have to admit I’ve been a little bit excited about this week’s theme because it gives me the perfect excuse to twirl about in one of my favourite pieces, my Youtheary Khmer skirt that I got via ModCloth. I also have it in pink, you might remember it from my time in New York. It’s still one of my favourite outfits so you know how it goes… buy it in every colour!
I received an awesome package from TS14+ and Virtu last week and as soon as I opened it I knew straight away that the gemstone print top would go perfectly. I adored the print (lets face it, it’s so me!) but I was unsure of the shape so tucking it in made the most sense. I love the length of the sleeve and adding a belt just polished the whole look.
Usually I go a little over the top with jewellery but with the busy print and bold coloured skirt I thought it best to tone it down with silver metallic. Shimmery flats, glittering vintage Glomesh purse and a belt to tie it all together. Isn’t the colour of the skirt amazing!
You might have noticed my hair has gotten just a touch longer… ok, a lot longer. I haven’t worn my hair extensions since the Ladies Race Day, it’s just been too hot and I’m still getting the hang of putting them in and caring for them. They do make me feel ultra glamorous though and it’s fun to change up my look from time to time and despite my current love affair for all dresses short and sweet, the same goes for maxi skirts.
